I wish you all the best of luck on your applications to OCC Nursing program. I too applied two years ago with a gpa at 3.73 I was waitlisted for the past two years. I was a little discouraged and opt to try another nursing program. Again Good Luck everyone.

are the teachers going to teach us how to calculate the IV? my teacher only taught us how to do the basic calculations with the proportions, very basic! do they actually teach us the calculations or are we on our own?????!!!!! YAAA IM MORE STRESSED ABOUT THE MATH PART!!!!

Occ i have the same math fears as you so I just spent the last 4 days teaching myself. Once you memorize the 4 equations they give you, it gets a lot easier! If you need help pm me! My instructor did say that next wk she would problems with us but it is too stressing me out more than any of the actual material. Grrr math!

yaaaa thats exactly how i feel, i focused more on the math test than the material for the monday test, how do you pm someone lol !!!! i was thinking of going to tutoring with a tutor at highland lakes her name is amy she's really good, anyhow, so how do u "pm" someone lol

Monday 9-1. Cant say the instructor's name but maybe we have the same one! I too feel like I've spent twice as much time on the math v the material that I actually have an exam on lol

OCC2012, I think you're in my pharm section....I swear she said we only had to know the practice problems for this test through #15 in Appendix D....not through the IV ones yet... or did I miss something? I think it's going to be a good class! :-)

O ok... That's good then!!! I thought she said " for now, learn appendix d" I thought it would be a little bit too much to cover iv.
