I am too excited but now what!
I am even more confused, my orders say TDY at Ft Bening GA, TDY report date 29 March, TDY purpose OBLC, I was not aware that there was another location besides Ft Sam Houston. I tried calling my recruiter but I had to leave a message. Any one else have this report location or any info?
My orders also say my sex is male even though I am not! LOL
What does DORRES, DOR and Constructive Credit 05-00-00 stand for?

DOR stands for date of rank. Your constructive credit (award of entry grade) is 5 yrs (for your BSN, MSN and yrs of experience)......that is why your are ranked an O3
About your orders,
I would either call ANC branch and speak with MAJ Ruiz or whoever your branch representative is (in Stovall, Va--they are moving to Kentucky soon) Anyhow, speak with whoever cut your orders. You can find the ANC branch telephone # or email on the web or at HRC.army.mil, under nursing.
If not.......then contact someone else in your recruiters office. Your orders are wrong..... I believe all AMEDD does basic at FT SAM....
Good Luck,
c.
Thanks for the info, I was hoping it was correct, my PCS is at Ft. Stewart GA so it would have been nice to already be in the same state. I will call tomorrow and see what I can find out.

Congrats!! And you know you gotta get that gender thing straightened out, or it'll follow you for your entire career. Maybe they sent you some guy's orders?

When I reported to COT they had me down as a male (and I'm not) AND listed my birthdate as 1997 which made me all of 11 years old. It took four weeks to fix it. I love the military for that! LOL!
Another question, in my orders the HPLRP is noted but not my Bonus. My bonus is in my contract though. Should the bonus also be on my orders or not?

Your bonus is not on your orders. All of that comes from two separate locations.
Check this out - I pulled my electronic military record the other day and they've got mine all screwed up....according to my record I have no ribbons or decorations, I never advanced past the rank of E3 (!!! - but somehow I completed my advanced training and obtained a higher classification), currently I'm a 2Lt clinical RN (YAY - they got one right!) but I have no college degree and have never completed any professional military education (uh, yes I have) and I never went to COT. I am being credited with the correct number of years in service (which is interesting since they say I never made it past E3). Oh, and when I was enlisted I was stationed at a base that CLOSED before I even went in! AND half my military record is missing.
Thank GOD for DD214s....that'll be me, ensconced at Randolph AFB for an entire afternoon on one of my days off...the funny thing is, you can see my DD214 in my electronic RIP and see how all the information is completely wrong. It's so sad it just makes me laugh when I think about it.
Also, when I got to COT, in DEERS they had me as a reservist E4 (wrong again!) under my maiden name (I was under my married name when I was inactive reserves and have the ID card to prove it) who had never been married but there was a spouse's Record and ID card attached to my personnel information.
And I'm STILL fixing it, because every DOD computer system operates independently of one another. The other day I went to have some labs drawn and the labels printed up with my maiden name on them - so we had to correct the information in THAT computer system.
The good news is my paycheck's correct...LOL...such is military life.
LOL, that is good news that atleast your paycheck is correct :-).
Sometimes in this business it's the little things!
Oh, and they had ALL of my vaccinations in the system from when I was enlisted - HILARIOUS....
I received my amended orders, it now states OBLC- Ft. Sam and I am now a -Female :-).
Since I am flying to OBLC, should I buy my plane ticket now and then I will be reimbursed later or will the Army buy my plane ticket up front? When I went on tour and physical at Ft. Sam, the Army got my ticket for me.
Also can I expect to recieve pay in 2 weeks or 1 month or what? Will this include base + BAH. Since I report on 3/29, should I expect atleast some pay on 4/15.
Thanks for all the help!
I am now a -Female :-)
Congrats on the .... um, upgrade! (Just kidding, men-folk, don't be hatin' on me. )
Anyway, YAY! One step closer.
