Oakland University Accelerated BSN fall 2011 Cohort

Hi! I was wondering if anybody out there has interviewed for Oakland University's ABSN program for the FAll of 2011 cohort. I think it will be 3 to 4 weeks before we find out if we will get accepted or not. I wish everyone good luck and hopefully receive good news!

OMG! We are all accepted! Yay! Congrats to Bronzemint - awesome you get to start May 2011!!!! Congrats to Dandy!!!! I am hoping I can move up, but who cares??? I will take it however it comes. :)

@Dandy - do you start in May or September?

I am almost done with the pre-nursing courses. I just have nutrition left to take. Oh, I'm excited. :)

Yes, I will joining you all for fall 2011. It is a christmas miracle:yeah: I have to take the 3 nurses courses as well. For the people who have already taken them, are you taking them online? Can you take all 3 at the same time?

Hi everyone, I have followed you guys here and there..just wanted to say congratulations to those(sounds like many of you) who got accepted!! That's so awesome!! I'm happy you guys never gave up on your dreams and it shows that being rejected doesn't mean the end. I'm happy Oakland gives people another chance. I start in a month!! I have been very impressed with Oakland so far and orientation was great. Best wishes to all of you. Good luck on your remaining three pre-reqs!! Happy Holidays!! I know the feeling of seeing that acceptance letter. Now enjoy your time before you start.

Hi Danigiril10, I too have to take all three nursing courses and was wondering if I should take them all during the winter term and online or not. Does anyone who has taken them have any recommendations and professor suggestions.

Also, in the letter it infers you can take them elsewhere. I thought you had to

take the courses at OU?

Hey everyone! Take the classes online. I just finished patho and pharm online. We can't post actual names on here, but take these 2 classes from the teacher with the VERY Irish name. I am registered for nutrition online for winter 2011. Unforunately I have to find more classes to take 4 more credits to be half time. And I think you do have to take all of them at OU, but I could be wrong.

all are classes and clinical at riverview? Or is it just clinicals at riverview?
