Hello all ?

I am applying for Oakland Community College Nursing program in a few weeks and have loads of questions. Are you applying too? What's the GPA cut off? If you've graduated from or attended the program, how was/is it? Which is better, fall or winter start?

I am excited to apply and excited to meet other applying as well! We've got this!

What school did you transfer over from? Do they have a program you could apply too?

@knrogers54321 I did not transfer from a school, all my credits are through OCC. My score low bc I get zero points for having repeat classes.

My lowest grade is a B+ in Comp 2...the rest I have A and A-. I get the two points for no transfers but zero for repeats. My score cannot get any higher than 13.6 even if I retook Comp2 for an A. (I have a 13.2)

@Reginastevens I wonder how they go about finding the students to fill seats that are left open. If you don't get the acceptance letter on the 15th, there may still be a chance. Did you apply the previous year?

I had to retake comp 1 and comp2 for better grades which in the end has hurt me more than helped! Kind of screwy but it is what it is!

@knrogers54321 yes I applied last year, never recieved a second letter for a spot if it had become available
