Pre-nursing students applying for Fall 2020/Winter 2021 start date at Oakland Community College

Hello all ?

I am applying for Oakland Community College Nursing program in a few weeks and have loads of questions. Are you applying too? What's the GPA cut off? If you've graduated from or attended the program, how was/is it? Which is better, fall or winter start?

I am excited to apply and excited to meet other applying as well! We've got this!

I am excited for y'all to get your letters! After reading a lot of the comments on here, and with how many people have perfect scores, I have lost a lot of hope of being accepted! I was a transfer student which automatically deducted points, and got screwed over by the same professor twice which resulted in losing more points. Oh the irony of some professors who shouldn't be professors! I will most definitely be on the look out to congratulate you all for getting accepted! 13 more days!

I'm really sorry the hear that. Maybe you will still be accepted tho, you never know!

I'm ready for the letters to be here, good or bad so I can stop being stressed, the 16th cant come soon enough! My fingers are crossed for everyone!

200 seats available, cut off score went up from last year, he said every year 10-20 people who got accepted give up their seat for various reasons which then those who were below the cut off score get a chance for the seat

Nope, cut off scores just got figured out last week. All he could tell me is it is higher this year than last years. It’s above 13.6 and below 14 is all I know.

If someone gives up their seat, how do they let us know? Also in form of letters?
