Hey guys! I haven't seen a thread for this yet so I thought this would be helpful to keep each other updated. Have any of you heard anything about the program yet?

I got the same type of message....looks like I'll have to apply elsewhere ?

waitlist for Spring 2020 residency. Had a phone screen back in May, passed NCLEX in august, was told to reach out every 2 weeks, no openings for 3 months, now they don't foresee openings for another 2 months and are "focusing on fall residency applicants"....and you can't apply to both the Spring and fall residencies
Hi all! I will be graduating and applying in the Spring. I saw in the link attached above to the job description is says preference given to those with a 3.5
I'm at a 3.46. I was wondering if anyone that has some insight on the residency thinks if I would have a shot with that GPA? If so, do you have any recommendations to help me stand out?
Thank you!!

This is sad. I am also in the waitlist, and have not heard anything.
If your okay moving and want to stay in the local metro area, try Stony Brook Hospital in Suffolk County. They are hiring new grads for various specialties.
After spend months trying for NYU/NYC hospitals (many want experience), it might be better to get experience now in a less saturated market and then reapply for NYU/NYC in 1-2 years.
