NYU hiring process

U.S.A. New York

Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?

Black or white shoes and just buy any color hunter green scrubs . A lot of people love figs but I liked Cherokee and they are super affordable .

Has anyone got update on the June 25th start date yet?

Can anyone share of experience working,at Nyu Langone? How do you like it?I did not know we have to buy health insurance. No union,i can be fire at any time, anything else to be aware of?No holidays paid?

No, still waiting

You will hear like the week before don't worry

Just an update for the new grads..I interviewed for the ED Fellowship program and was supposed to hear an "update" regarding the position on 6/8. However, i was told that due to a budget review there may not even be a fellowship program anymore and everything is "up in the air". They are unsure of how many positions will be available and thats probably why new grads havent heard back regarding the new grad residency

YOOO. the HR person I've been emailing back and forth with told me to call her back on 6/8 too. Wonder what this special date is?? I went to UNC, and have been contacting them trying to get an interview for months, or even just find out what positions are available. No one can tell me anything, but they don't flat out reject me either. It's...frustrating. They just keep telling me to email them every time I meet a milestone, aka when I graduated this may, when I signed up for the NCLEX, when I passed.

I would take that mainly as a bad sign because another girl was told the same thing for a position and she basically didn't get the job because of the budget review that's currently going on because a lot of floors overhired. They are still jobs available but not that many.

This happened to me. It was very long and frustrating. The only do that because most of this floors won't hire unless you've passed your NCLEX or if you have some connections with NYU. After you passed they will tell you what's available but Cathy tends to tell people to email her back in 2-3 weeks but honestly, they're openings and jobs that are available that can come and go during that time period and by the time you email back there are no positions available it's super frustrating.

Was this for the ED fellowship also?

Yeah I honestly think I'm going to move on. I can't keep waiting around for something that isn't even definitely going to happen

This also happened to me for months. I ended up taking a job elsewhere bc it was hard to wait for something that I may never even get an interview for.

Called HR today to ask about my application and they said I had to redo any applications I summed because they changed the whole system as of yesterday. Checked the website and the app is not in sight. I'm guessing they're not offering it anymore.
