Questions about salary offers for new grads and comparisons between hospitals are also brought up.
Hello I recently applied for a position at NYU, they sent me an email recently saying to complete an online questionnaire or assessment tool. Is that a good sign? Do I have a good chance of hearing back?
Congratulations!! Was curious if you are a new grad and which OR unit you will be in? I am a new grad myself and am waiting to hear back. I receive the emails every Friday (sometimes every other) saying I am still in consideration and when I call the recruiter I interview with at the Interview Day he says the same.
Hey! I am not a new grad. I was hired to the Neuro OR at Kimmel. Did you apply for the OR at Kimmel? Hang on tight!
Hi! I haven't received any updates apart from the email that contained the Pre-Hire documents and benefits packet. So if anyone did receive any information about the orientation schedule, please let me know! Also, I was wondering, for anyone who emailed Julie the Pre-Hire documents, if she responded back yet? I haven't received any updates after the original offer email.
how was your trip to HR? Anything about orientation and what to expect?
It was fairly quick. orientation is at 8-4 HR says. took a selfie for the badge. brought the requested documents they need. went to occupational health to do a physical, fit testing, and blood work. i will receive an email they said about full details of the orientation.
Hey, I just received an email today about the background screening, but nothing in regards to orientation schedule. I also did not receive a response back after sending my pre hire documents.
after that email, it took them 2-3 weeks to email me back with updates and the next step. you should be good!
