NYU Fall 2018

Published

Hi, I'm starting this thread because there are only Accelerated BSN threads out there. If you applied to NYU's nursing program as a transfer student without an undergrad degree, I would love to hear from you! I recently found a traditional transfer thread from many years ago and it seemed like not many of the applicants were accepted. This has me worried as I applied as a traditional transfer, regular decision. Is there a possibility NYU only really considers students as traditional freshmen and ABSN students?

When is the next wave of decisions supposed to come out? Like are they every week?

I'm not sure, I have read that they do it on tuesdays and thursdays but I'm not sure if that's accurate

Ugh well I'm still waiting! Haha

Me too! They reached out to me last week requesting a mid-term report, I don't know what to make of it :/ just that they are reviewing my app. Nothing has been checked online though. So who knows how much long I'll wait. Plus I applied regular decision, so I would assume I'm waiting till June :'(

Oops I haven't sent a mid term report yet, and I applied end of January! I didn't know we were supposed to. Ugh I hope that doesn't mean they just aren't considering me :/

It's not required! That's why I'm here over analyzing if it means I'm one of the weaker applicants or not. Lol.

You should think positively. At least you got a response. We are all waiting patiently for any kind of communication on their behalf.

Did you submit the mid term report or no? And I second what he says! Don't stress about it, just think positively!

You guys are right! Thanks for the positive vibes. I did submit it, earlier this week.

After the high school and college transcript.

Every thing on the Albert was marked complete.

They have not asked for anything else.

I am registered for two classs this semester and will get my associates after spring. So I am not sure what is going on.

You should probably hear back soon. At least I would assume so since you applied for early decision. Congratulations on the associates though! I'm wondering if there is some kind of method to their review process. Like if there are rounds that applicants go through, etc. Wish I knew more about this..
