NYU ASBN Fall 2020

Hi! I figured I start a thread (I know it's super early, but I can't be the only one that plans ahead!) for Fall 2020 admissions!

I started my application and hope to find someone else out there going through this process. I have a question though after reading other NYU ASBN threads:

Are we allowed to submit an application if we have some prerequisites courses in progress? I plan to take the remainder of my prereqs (nutrition, statistics, chem, and dev psych) during spring 2020 semester.

I'm super nervous! I have by BS in Early Childhood Education - totally different spectrums. Goodluck to everyone! Hope to hear back from someone soon ?

Hi guys! Im in the process of applying to NYU and other schools. I'm missing microbio which I was hoping tot ake over the summer but I've been considering taking it now. All the classes at my school and surrounding schools are closed of course..... have any of you taken microbio online / do you recommend it ???

@justliving - if you’re applying for the ABSN program, it says that the only online pre-reqs that they’ll accept are Developmental Psych and Nutrition. If you don’t have a microbiology class available near you, you might need to apply as a non-accelerated 2nd degree and take the course at NYU.

ya i'm super nervous. i have really low stats and just got rejected to seattle university so nyu is my last hope

i wonder how many students they'll take for the accelerated vs. non-accelerated. what's your stats?

How long were your recommendation letters and you send them via mail or through the common app?

Also, for transcripts. I want to have my application in by the March 1st priority deadline. My final pre-req grades will be in by February 27th. My official transcript will therefore not make it in before March 1st, but I can have everything else sent in/completed. Does this mean I won't technically be making the March 1st deadline? Should I send in my transcript for now then send another one after these new grades are in?
