NYU Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program

Hi all,

I've applied for NYU Adult-Gerontology Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program Spring 2020. I received an update today stating I've been waitlisted. Has anyone else experienced this? Any idea how many people apply/get accepted? I'm curious how long it will take them to accept or reject me. I am still holding on to hope, as NYU is my 1st choice. Any insight would be welcome. Thanks in advance.

Hey! yeah, I was accepted for Fall 2020. I have only gotten my acceptance email and have not heard anything after that. I am assuming they are really backed up with everything that's going on

I was wondering how long did it take before you received a decision regarding your application? I submitted mine few days ago for Fall 2020. The deadline is June 16th but I feel that I am late already

Hi everyone, 

I found this thread because I’m looking for info on this program. I just applied for Early Action this coming Spring 2021. I see some applicants got waistlisted in November but when was your deadline? I’m just wondering how long it will take them to get back to me. Also, undergrad GPA was 3.38 and I did not take any standardized test. Did anyone get in with those numbers? Please don’t be shy. I’m trying to see my chances realistically here. Any info helps. Thank you.

Hi, if you don't mind me asking, what was your GPA when you applied? I have a 3.0 and im scared its too low.
