Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

Maybe we'll hear something today because of the holiday yesterday? Did anyone hear anything Friday? This is the last week of May. June is approaching...

They took a little too long and I'd already started making moving plans for elsewhere. Plus, figured I needed to take my own advice and take the acceptance that was half the tuition costs. I figure I can always try to get my NP through NYU later - it's not going anywhere ? I hope you get accepted soon!

I understand what you mean. Other schools have already sent their acceptance and I think NYU is still working on it. We'll see what happens and thank you! If you dont mind me asking, where would you'll be attending?

My lease is up July 1st so if I was having to move, I didn't have time to wait around and hear from NYU oops.
Where else have you heard from? I'll be going to Drexel!
That's great - congratulations! Who are you leaning towards?
College of Mount Saint Vincent due to the cost. Is half the price of both schools (NYU and Pace) but I know that NYU gives scholarships so lets see what happens...
