Hi guys! Thought I'd make a forum for NYU's ABSN Program for fall 2020.
Let me introduce myself. My name is Alexis Paige. Currently in California. I received my BA in psych from a private university with a GPA below 3.0. Took pre-reqs in multiple community college while working. Ended up with the same GPA as undergrad ?
Here's my stats:
Anatomy: C (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Physio: A-
Microbio: C+ (planning to retake in spring 2020)
Chem for health sciences: C+
Nutrition: A
Stats: C
Lifespan dev: B
Volunteer experience at Stanford University. Do you think I have chance with NYU? I feel like my only hope in getting in are the letter of recs + personal essay.

For what its worth, I'm glad I'm not the only one going crazy that I haven't gotten a decision. Hopefully next week, is our week! Best of luck to everyone but on the real OMG
I have a pretty low GPA, 3.2 I think? I did pretty bad in my undergrad but my prerequisites brought it up a bit
I'm not sure what my prereq GPA was but I had all A's except Anatomy, which I got a B+ in
I also have about a year of healthcare experience working as an MA in an endocrinology clinic and some volunteer hours at a hospital. I also had 2 letters of rec (one from the doctor I worked from and another from my professor!)
