Hey all! I've learned tons over the past months reading the different threads here. I am getting ready to start my application for the NYU aBSN program for Spring 2011, so I thought I'd start a new thread for anyone else who may be applying. I will be graduating from the University of Florida in December with a degree in nutrition. I've always wanted to go to NYU, so getting into this program would be a dream come true.
I will be attending the open house on August 10th to get some more information, so I will definitely check back and post what I find out.
So is there anyone else out there that's in the same boat as me? I'd love to hear from yall!!
Did you guys hear back yet? I suggest you keep calling because I just got my application in the mail and it is dated Dec.7 the same day I called NYU and spoke to an admissions director regarding my application status.
I found out via email. :) Now if I could just grow a money tree between now and January 24th, I'd be the happiest girl ever! How is everyone doing with loans and stuff? Has it been pretty easy?

they gave me a direct plus loan which covers a decent amount...has anyone applied to any scholarships? i applied to the hillman but havent heard anything back...
Are you going to be in the Accelerated Nursing Program or Traditional? I tried to get a PLUS loan but I'm an independent student but assumed I would be eligible because we are professional students. How did you qualify?

Alison, I mean that you are not the only one waiting not that you probably did not get in... ugh.. all this waiting : ( ...
