Hey all! I've learned tons over the past months reading the different threads here. I am getting ready to start my application for the NYU aBSN program for Spring 2011, so I thought I'd start a new thread for anyone else who may be applying. I will be graduating from the University of Florida in December with a degree in nutrition. I've always wanted to go to NYU, so getting into this program would be a dream come true.
I will be attending the open house on August 10th to get some more information, so I will definitely check back and post what I find out.
So is there anyone else out there that's in the same boat as me? I'd love to hear from yall!!

Am I the only loser still waiting to hear back?? I called today and got the standard we've reviewed your application but a decision has not been made response. I am going nuts here. Big Noob, who did you contact? Please save me from giving myself an ulcer over this. I've only applied to one other school.
Hi Allison I can't post the name of the person due to forum rules. Maybe I can send you a link to the NYU website that has the info on it: http://www.scps.nyu.edu/areas-of-study/tisch/undergraduate-programs/prospective-students/admissions.html. Btw if they said your application is under review then maybe they haven't come to a decision yet because I called the undergrad admissions yesterday and they said that my application was complete and that I would get something in the mail from them this week. If you ever hear that response that means your probably in. However, for a more clear and direct response go to that link. Hope you get in. :)

Chanzer11, any word from the committee? Someone contacted me yesterday. But I hadn't been accepted yet so not much we could discuss. It would be great to get 18k off of my big fat loan. IF i get in.
That's what they said. They said apply to everything when I called to inquire about it. That link you gave my I spoke to one of the people on that list today. So not sure how much more hounding I should do. Besides Kiki's friend, does anyone know of other rejection letters that went out?
Has anyone applied for private loans yet? Has anyone lender been easier to borrow from then another?
Allison, then maybe your application is still under review. I don't think the deans would lie to you. Good news is they are still accepting people that should make you feel less nervous now. I haven't heard of anyone else getting a rejection letter...seems like everyone is getting in. :)
congrats to those of you who got in!! i sent them an email today and they told me that the committee still has not reached a decision and hopes to have one by next week... : / .. I am thinking at this point maybe I did not get in.. if not they would have accepted me already... Alison you are not alone...
