NYU ABSN Spring 2021

Hi all. I'm starting a forum for NYU Spring 2021. I know the application goes live soon so might as well make one now.

I applied for Fall 2020 but didn't get in so I'm applying for the second time. Good luck to us all!

Hi all - I also applied for the second degree (non-accelerated) back in September (though there were some transcript issues and my application wasn't "complete" till October). I have not heard back yet and can relate to how stressful the waiting has become. There were some other people on this thread earlier that applied for non-accelerated that did hear back positive news in November. When I called today (11/30), the representative said it could take up until early January to hear a response, which was super discouraging. They also said they do the notifications simultaneously with the accelerated program. I'm hoping we all can get clarity soon - and congrats to those that have gotten in!

I received my acceptance around 2 yesterday! This is a very basic question and I'm not sure if someone already answered this, but can someone confirm what day the program starts for Spring 2021?

Has anyone who applied and hasn't heard from NYU at all and/or has not been contact regarding anything at all with their application? Starting to get worried.. Was contacted by someone in admissions a few days after submitting my app in October regarding confirming pre reqs on albert (stating whether they were taken in person/online, etc...) so I did that right away and that was it still no decision yet... Does not seem like there is a pattern in terms of how people are receiving decisions besides just the common Friday decision day... but just wondering if anyone is in the same boat still awaiting a decision and has not been contacted regarding any issues w/ their app?

I was contacted by an admissions counselor about my pre reqs, they wanted a midterm report and this was about 3 weeks ago. Still waiting for a decision

Similarly, I was contacted on 11/11 about some courses I'm doing now, but I haven't heard back from them since.

Just like you, NYU has not contacted me recently about my app. I was contacted about pre reqs in October but since then they have been updated to my current grades. This has been really stressful not hearing back but I've learned we really have to just be patient.

Just wanted to keep you guys updated. One of my nutrition courses is approved and my application is “being reviewed”.

I dk if this is against the allnurses rules to post this here but I have an NYU purple scrub top and bottom to give away to any incoming student who wants it.  It's size small (unisex) so it runs big.  Both are in good shape and will get you through the semester.  

I also have white reebok sneakers size 7.    Just throw it in the wash. https://www.shoechapter.com/en/reebok-classic-leather-white.html  I rather not seeing these items go to waste.  Message me directly if you want it.
