NYU ABSN Spring 2021

Hi all. I'm starting a forum for NYU Spring 2021. I know the application goes live soon so might as well make one now.

I applied for Fall 2020 but didn't get in so I'm applying for the second time. Good luck to us all!

Its not worth the money. The class sizes are huge. They don't care about the students at all. You cant control were you want to go for clinical or who you want to have as a lecture professor. It's all randomization because they don't care. One of the professors son's went to a different nursing school that says a lot too.

honestly NYU is so expensive — I got into a couple other schools and NYU is taking forever to respond to me and these other schools need responses ! I just think it’s ridiculous that they’re taking this long to give a decision when their program starts in two months. I applied for Summer programs (May) that I’ve already gotten acceptances for...

I'd like to know why too, as I am in the same boat. I also got accepted into the College of Mount Saint Vincent (Queens Campus), and now have to decide which offer to accept.

you are so right thank you so much. I payed my $500 deposit to NYU which I will loose byt oh well LOL ;(

I wouldn’t suggest going to Rutgers imo, I used to be in the nursing program and they didn’t care about their students at all. They freely academically dismiss their students. Depending if you are in state, around 30k. Out of state, around 55k I think. I gotta look at the numbers again.

Nothing Happened LOL its always been bad. It's not worth the money. the class sizes are huge, you have no choice of your clincal placements, or lecture teachers. everything is random because they don't care. Pre covid and covid NYU was awful. They don't care about the students because theres like 200-300 kids in a cohort. One of my teachers son's went Pace that says alot about the program LOL
