Hi all. I'm starting a forum for NYU Spring 2021. I know the application goes live soon so might as well make one now.
I applied for Fall 2020 but didn't get in so I'm applying for the second time. Good luck to us all!

My checklist was still there this morning when I checked

are you guys waiting on other schools or are you guys planning to attend? I'm still deciding but would love to hear other people's thoughts. if you guys make a group on fb or anything please post it here!!
Thanks! I'm still waiting on some other schools before I decide. The cost is a pretty big deciding factor for me though haha
First of all, congratulations to everyone who earned their acceptances!
I just have a few quick questions-- if anyone knows the answer...
Do acceptances only go out on Fridays? and when you log into your application page where does your status appear (I.e. accepted)?
Lastly, what are people's thoughts on tuition? I feel as though regardless of if I am accepted or not it will be a big deciding factor based on other places I get into.
Thank you!

Going by past posts it seems to be a trend that acceptances go out on fridays. You’ll get varying answers but Friday’s do seem to be the day.
I have no been accepted yet but it seems like you get an email about a decision and it brings you to your portal where there will be a button you click that tells you your decision. If you don’t get an email and randomly sign in to your portal and see a decision has been made I’m not too sure what it looks like. I can only assume all your info would not be there anymore except that decision link
tuition is steep, but then again it’s NYU.
@nursingiscool123I will most likely attend NYU. Tuition is insane but I have heard good things about the program by multiple people so lets see how it goes! I guess if this is really what you want to be nothing else really matters. It rings true for me anyways I understand that some people can't justify the price because it takes one SHINY *** PENNY. I just want to complete a program (no matter which) as quickly as I can so I could start doing something I have passion for. Didn't have the luxury of choosing between schools so I'm counting my lucky stars this will work out. Hope if does for everyone here too! This thread seems extremely passionate and has helped me through a lot of my questions and anxiety so I wanted to take a moment to thank all of you!

Hey! So I did accept my offer. I was accepted to another school as well but I went through pros and cons of the two schools and went with NYU. Tuition was definitely a big deciding factor but to me it was worth it in comparison to the other school for me personally (commuting, etc) and for educational purposes (program length etc).
