Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!

Same I submitted mine as well. That Columbia rejection really hurt me, hopefully NYU isn't another rejection.

Just the prerequisites even if you have not completed all
Thanks so much, that's what I thought but didn't want to not include anything. Good luck!

Im new to this thread. Has anyone been accepted having C’s for pre recs? I have a 3.46 over all and C in developmental psych, chem, and anatomy! But A’s in everything else.
I’m kind of worried this is going to hurt me!
This year the amount of applications to all schools has increase exponentially so competition is tough. Regardless if the schools looks at the process holistically, grades are part of the decision making. If it were up to me and time/money were on my side I’ll retake at least 1. I know of people that were not accepted because of grades or were told to retakes the classes in order to review their application.

Yes, they have an update on the portal saying 2020 and 2021 prerequisites can be online classes as long as they are taken in a 4 or 2 year college.

Where did you read that applications have increased this year?
@futuree_nurse It was widely said by Admissions at CUSON, nationally a 6% increase according to Today.com. You can Google it and see some articles about it.
Hey guys, long time lurker here. I was recently denied acceptance to Columbia’s MDE program, however I was accepted to Northeastern’s ABSN program. Northeastern starts in May, so I really hope I hear back from NYU much earlier. Does anyone know how many applicants usually apply to NYU’s ABSN program? I know Columbia had an increase in applications this year.
