NYU ABSN FAll 2021

Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!

I received the acknowledgement the next day stating they will be sending the login information soon, but I haven't received the login information yet.

Hi All,

I'm graduating in May 2021, and is applying to NYU's ABSN 15 month program (regular decision). I know that we have to write an essay. I want to make sure if the essay is that same as the personal statement that answers the questions "What events led you to choose nursing as a career at this stage in your life? Why are you choosing to pursue this degree at NYU?"

Hey! Was wondering where you found this question for the personal statement? I have been reading everywhere but seem to have missed this, would be helpful since I haven't found much of what they are looking for specifically.

The essay is the personal statement and it is found on the application on common app

Hey everyone! Just submitted my application. I am actually waiting on Columbia’s decision and they are taking a long time to get their decisions out. So I decided to apply to NYU just incase Columbia throws a rejection my way ?

Hi, the schools that I attended uses parchment for their transcripts and I am having trouble sending the transcripts to the common app. can you assist me with it or can I just send it to NYU's admission as the recipients?

It's in the program's maternal under questions.

if you can’t figure out how to send via common app, you can just request your school to send official transcripts to either the admissions office at 383 lafayette or to [email protected]! I requested my schools to send them to the email

Hey! Im graduating UG in May and applied for Fall. I read that they don't start sending out decisions until June!! Does anyone know if that is accurate or of anyone who has already heard back?

At the last info session I attended they said decisions go out as early as April 15 and as late as June 15

On the Common App there is a section that asks for "College Coursework." Do you guys know if NYU wants us to put in ALL of our college coursework? Or just the pre-requisites?
