Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
Hi, I'm a little confused on how to send transcripts. Do they want paper copies of our official transcripts, or can they be electronic/pdf files? Can we just send them via the Common App or do we have to send them separately to NYU?? Thank you!

I believe it's either or. But, I submitted it as a paper copy just to be safe. I ordered them through my school's registrar office.
Is there an actual NYU portal? On the website with the ABSN info under where to apply, I can't seem to find where you would actually sign up/log in.. does anyone know if NYU is only taking applications via Common App this year? I just tried calling the nursing office but left a voicemail. Hoping to submit my app by the priority deadline.

Hi everyone! I attended the zoom info session yesterday and just wanted to fill you guys in on some stuff they mentioned. Someone asked about priority vs final deadline and they basically said that it doesn’t matter, they don’t start looking at applications until after the final deadline and they are looked at in no particular order (which was a little disappointing to hear but helpful to those who aren’t able to apply by the priority deadline!) and they also said decisions go out as early as April 15 and as late as June 15.
My transcripts from schools are still not received yet, hopefully that won't be a big problem.
It took a few days for one of my transcripts to be received and I’m still waiting on one from another school to be received. Luckily we still have time before the deadline so I’m sure they’ll be in soon!! Good luck!
