Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
My "NYU Application Information Request" button has also disappeared. I don't know what any of these means, but I learned not to read too much into these minute changes ? I don't want to get my hopes up for nothing.

Honestly guys, I think the majority of us would need loans. And to be completely honest it is probably my only consolation prize if I were to be rejected, which at this point I feel it is what is going to happen ?. The fact I will avoid being $100K in debt. Yes you make money as a nurse, but you can just as well with your bachelor’s, its a dream career for those of us who really want it, but I remember my mentor (a nurse practitioner) saying you just have to pretend you have no money for 2 yrs and pay it off as quick as possible.

Hopefully that is a good sign! I only lost one of the purple buttons for updating the application. I’m still taking 2 courses this Summer which can explain the pre-req button, but my blue one is still there :/.

I didn’t even realize that was my case too. I have the second half of developmental psych to finish, but they haven’t reached out to ask me about it at all. I only noticed the grey box on top and “request to update application information” disappear. But now I noticed that I still have the prerequisite button there.
Really hoping they wrap things up today, has anyone called recently and heard anything from them? It's so ridiculous because this program starts SO soon
Nothing! But the thread on facebook keeps getting larger, which makes me think that some are getting notifications and just not on this thread. Or whatever is happening, just nothing as far as rejections or waitlist yet? I haven’t heard of rejections at all.

Anyone who was accepted, if you don’t mind, how are you going to be able to fund this program. The cost of scaring me to death LOL
