Hey, this is super duper early but I figured we could get some questions, fears, or concerns talked through until March 1, 2021, for priority or April 1, 2021, for the regular decision to NYU's ABSN 15 month program for non-nurses. Please don't be afraid, Please share stats if you are comfortable doing so. It really does help cohorts after us figure out strengths and weaknesses to be better applicants. Hey, after all, It's all about helping each other out at the end of the day, right! Don't be shy, talk about where you're from and things you may be worried about for the application process. As well as other schools you might be applying for!
Nothing! But the thread on facebook keeps getting larger, which makes me think that some are getting notifications and just not on this thread. Or whatever is happening, just nothing as far as rejections or waitlist yet? I haven’t heard of rejections at all.
Yeah the facebook thread keeps growing but I am not sure if that is because people have been hearing back recently or if they are just now discovering the page. At this point, I just want an answer so I can prepare new applications and figure out a game plan for my future. I was hoping to hear back sooner and being someone from Los Angeles, that would be a hefty move right now with so little time. I haven't heard of any waitlist or rejections being released but the facebook page is large enough to be an entire cohort in itself so I feel like the chance of acceptances going out is very slim unfortunately.

Thanks for saying it, I didn’t want to be the one, but its not my first rodeo, and I feel like I know what is going to happen. While the facebook pge has 90 people on it, NYU cohorts for ABSN are usually double that. But we have to consider a good amount of people who don't use facebook.
Hi all, I wanted to share the following information with everyone:
I received an email during the end of May asking for more information about one of my pre-requisite courses to see whether it can be accepted. I sent them my syllabus and was given the green light last week that NYU will accept the course and only will now forward my application for committee review. This led me to believe that perhaps NYU is/was still looking at new applications for the first time during these past few weeks so for those of us that haven't heard back yet, don't give up hope just yet!
In addition, I called NYU nursing last week and the person on the line said that we should hear back "latest by mid June" so we still have a bit more time.
I hope this was helpful for those of us waiting to hear back.
