Hello all,
I decided to start a thread for the NYU accelerated nursing program since I have not seen one for fall 2018:)
Is there anyone else that applied before the priority deadline and has not heard back yet? I applied on 2/21, 8 weeks ago, and haven't heard anything. I'm very anxious to hear a response so that I can have an idea of my plans for the summer and the rest of the year.
Yes- I applied 2/7 and have not heard back

Yeah I applied before priority deadline as well and still haven't received a decision.
Hi all,
I recently was admitted in to the ABSN program as a non-accelerated student for Fall 2018. I am starting a full time job in June at NYU Langone - which is awesome because of the tuition reimbursement (up to 9 credits per semester!!) , which I desperately need. Do you guys know of people that did the program and worked full time, and did so successfully? Although I am scared my grades will suffer, is it worth if it I forego the tuition reimbursement and go in over 100k of debt?... Any advice or thoughts on my dilemma?
Thanks!
No response yet... i have a 2.85 GPA with a BA in chemistry from Brooklyn College. Did really good in science but slacked on my electives.my prereqs are
A&P 1 - A-
A&P 2 - B+
Stats - B+
Chem 1 - C+ (really bad I know but i was a chemistry major so every other chem class was A or B)
I honestly think you'll get in. You have an amazing GPA. Since they do a holistic review, I would imagine you have a good chance of getting in (of course it also depends on your resume, essay and letters of recommendation.
Hey all, I got my acceptance letter yesterday for the accelerated program. Still dont believe it. I was so shocked because I was rejected by a weaker school that was actually my first choice so I thought I had no chance at NYU. Went to Brooklyn College for undergrad but my classes were spread out over like 8 years.
Stats : Double Bachelors in Psychology and Nutrition.
Psych GPA: 3.9
Nutrition GPA : 3.8
Prereq GPA: never calculated it but I got an A or A- in everything but Anatomy (B-) and Physiology (B+) but I had to retake physiology after I had an ugly F for missing the final the first time around.
Overall GPA: 3.6

I also applied 2/21 and have not heard back. I'm actually going through the same thing. I would like to know my decision that way I can plan accordingly as to what to do during the next few months! Hopefully we will find out soon.
