  1. Hi, Anyone out there applying for Binghamton's accelerated nursing program?
  2. Hi guys! congratulations to those who got accepted to accelerated nursing programs and are almost ready to transition to the role of a new nurse really soon. I also went to an accelerated program and I have been working as a nurse at NYP for over two years now and really love it. I have questions about housing for Binghamton's accelerated nursing program and was wondering if anyone could give me some insight on to where the best places to live are while doing the program? In exchange I can help answer questions you may have about the NCLEX or applying to NYC hospitals.
  3. I just wanted to clarify that Marian University is actually a great school so far. I entered for Fall 2018 because I was having a hard time getting into a absn in nyc. I just took my first patho exam and got a 95, and I feel like the professor is awesome even if you don't see him in person. They really want you to pass here and everyone is friendly and helpful. You must work hard like with any school! If you can apply and get in I would recommend it.
  4. I am starting this August in Nashville. Are you in Nashville or Indy? What classes did you find the hardest for your first semester?
  5. How do you like it so far?
  6. hello, I was thinking of applying for Fall 2018 and relocating from NYC. if so I'll need a roommate. Where are you coming from?
  7. Hello, I am hesitant about this school. Has anyone heard anything positive? I'm ready to work though so I hope I can handle it. Where are people looking for roommates? I'm going to drive up part time from NYC so I'm hoping to find a small place.
  8. still waiting :/
  9. Hi! Have you heard back from NYU yet?
  10. Thanks!! I appreciate you believing in me!! I hope we both get in!!
  11. No response yet... i have a 2.85 GPA with a BA in chemistry from Brooklyn College. Did really good in science but slacked on my electives. my prereqs are A&P 1 - A- A&P 2 - B+ Stats - B+ Chem 1 - C+ (really bad I know but i was a chemistry major so every other chem class was A or B)
  12. So I am guessing the next wave of admission's decisions goes out tomorrow? If you do get accepted can you continue to share your stats? We're dying over here LOL. Currently I am living in Queens, but If i get accepted I am hoping to meet some new city dwelling friends. Maybe crash on the couch if we have early clinical hours. I will pay for couch services haha. Good Luck!
  13. Just sent in my application today! Good luck to everyone. I am a former Chemistry Major from Brooklyn college.
  14. Hello, I just sent my application for NYU's absn program in Fall 2018. Just wanted to get in contact with other applicants and (fingers crossed future classmates) see who else is applying. I have a lower GPA so I kind of feel like this may be a long shot for me but lets see how it goes. Has anyone received early acceptance?
