NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

does anyone know what the total tuition is for all 4 semesters?

@sborn, per the nursing info session per semester is $21,873. The NYU Bursar website shows a few additional fees, so I'm thinking roughly $22k per semester. Not included in the semester fees are uniforms, stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, books, pen light, and name tag.

hey on your albert, does anyone have transcripts checked off? They only checked off my high school ones from 2008 LOL. also, ive noticed that nyu sends out notification in waves. i've heard that some schools send out acceptances to the strongest, wait to see who declines, then send out another round...

My transcripts are showing unchecked still, as well. I did contact them earlier this month and was told my transcripts were received and should update soon. Here's hoping and waiting.

On on a side note, I noticed your user name in other posts of schools I've applied to. I'm waiting to hear back from NYU, UM and USF. I'm sending good vibes your way and hope you get into your top choice school(s)!

@charming_kitty, I just checked ALBERT and don't see that my university transcripts have been reviewed either. Anxiously awaiting a response.

I applied late January. It seems like we're early birds, haha. Thanks :) I'm patiently waiting for a response. I think it's great that NYU looks at applicants in a holistic manner.

How do you check Albert? Does NYU email you a netID, or is it the same ID one uses to complete the online application?

@Paige100, NYU will send you an email with your Net ID where and a link where you can access ALBERT. Mine was sent to me about a week after I submitted my application.

Hi Guys..

I was just wondering hpw quickly your college transcripts were checked off on Albert after you submitted your application. I called in today and they were just telling me how I had to wait and that it takes a week for it to get into the system..
