NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

Any news for anyone today?

I got in today!!! This is my second time getting accepted to NYU accelerated Nursing. I also applied for Jan 15 and got in then. I turned it down due to the high cost and have applied to Rutgers for Fall 15. Hopefully I get in there so someone else can have my spot.

Are you from Jersey? How much is the total cost of attending at Rutgers?

If you don't mind what is your cgpa from first bachelor degree? What about prerequisite cgpa?

What time did you get your email from NYU?

I got the email at 9am.

I am from NJ. I think rutgers is around 35k for the whole program all included.

My GRA for my BA is 3.82 and for pre-reqs is around 3.75. I applied late to NYU however. I was not priority.

Me too, mainly because it is expensive and I didn't expect to get in but now I am considering to go, especially since rutgers takes so long to mail decisions.

Just checked some of the comments from last year's fall ABSN thread.

It seems like some applicants got in during mid of June. That long? Damnnnn!!!

No clue about rejection letters since people hardly talk about that.

Some people mentioned that "Not hearing back" means a good sign... At least you might be in a waiting list....

I'd love to get in, hopefully the wait is worth it! The first thing I do on T/Th mornings is open my eyes, roll over, check my email on my phone. I'm getting anxious to hear SOMETHING.
