@gilly00. When did you submit your applications? Also, I remember you posted on the spring 2015 thread. did you withdraw your application for spring?

@charming_kitty I submitted my application for the Fall 2015 cohort about two weeks ago. I actually never applied for the Spring 2015 -- I was just on the thread to find out more info about the application progress/how long it took for people to hear back/etc. I guess I was just a little over eager to find out info! lol

Wow! A a lot of you guys applied so early! I am just getting together my application now; I just need to write the essay. I have one letter of rec from my bio professor. I'm a biology major/chem minor with a 3.68 gpa. Grades: General Chemistry I B, General Chemistry II A-, Microbiology A, (Bio)-Statistics A, Anatomy and physiology I B-, Anatomy and physiology II-Will take in spring, Nutrition-Will take in summer, Developmental/Life Span Psych-Will take in spring. I am really scared about my anatomy and physiology grade and my chemistry grade!

I went on a volunteer medical trip abroad with global medical brigades and will go again this summer to another country. In lots of of clubs/honor societies. On the executive board for 2 of them.

What do you guys think for my chances of getting into NYU and what are your stats if you don't mind sharing? :)

@biologybelle2. i think you're good. I read your other post. NYU is based on holistic admissions so they take into account life experience and essays.

how many letters of recommendation are fall 2015 applicants providing? the website mentions 1-2, but then says 1 on the actual application. (sorry if this was already mentioned and answered)

I went to the info session today. The letters of rec for the ABSN are optional, but you may submit 1 or 2.

For those of you that went to the info session, did they say anything about when decisions would be made?

I submitted my application for fall 2015 in October, needless to say I'm eager to know my admission status lol

They said anywhere between April and June....quite a large span of time! I'm anxious as well!

Hi, all!

Question -- has anyone started/submitted their FAFSA yet?

I'm listing myself as an independent, but it said you might want to list your parent(s) financial information if you are a healthcare student (including nursing). Not sure if I should include my parents' info. Any advice?

Hi all! I sent in my application for the Fall 2015 this past Friday, the 6th and I received an email saying my application was submitted but nothing about how to log onto Albert. How long did it take you guys to get your Albert NetID?
