NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

Hi everyone! I submitted my application a few weeks ago. Just waiting on my letters of recommendation so I can mail them out along with my transcripts :) Do any of you remember the deadline for priority? I can't remember if it was February or March

@ sz1991. It is March 1. I submitted mine over the holidays and just sent off my recs as well. Did you have 1 or 2 recs?

I have 2 recs. I tried to get one to attest to the volunteer/work ethics side and one from school

Hi! To those of you that have already applied - I sent in my letter of recommendation with my transcripts. On Albert it's noting that they received my transcripts (the boxes are all checked off), but the LOR isn't even listed/checked off. I was wondering if there's a delay in posting the LOR, or maybe they don't even list it on Albert? Thank you!

I just checked, and my transcript boxes have not been checked off, but I don't think that they list the LOR's on Albert, because there is no slot for it with checkmarks. I would just email someone in admissions to confirm they've received it

Hi everyone! New to the site and the forum. Last week, I wrapped up my application. When I called last week, I received confirmation my transcripts had been received and this status is also showing on ALBERT; however, I don't show receipt of my LORs.

I'm going to follow up with them regarding the LORs next week. Is anyone going to the Info Session next Tuesday?

Letters of recommendation do not show up on Albert because recs are optional

How early did you send in your transcripts? I sent mine in two weeks ago and it's showing that it delivered but it has not been updated on my ALBERT:o

I sent it in over fall before apps even opened. Doesn't show on Albert but it's usually faster to confirm with Admissions officer coz it takes weeks to match it with Albert

@sz1991 - It took a week or so for mine to show up (also, NYU was closed because of the snow for a day, so that probably slowed things down.) If you call the admissions office they're pretty responsive on letting you know they have it. I'm sure they have it marked down, and that it will be updated soon on Albert!
