NYU ABSN Fall 2015

Anyone planning to apply to NYU ABSN program for fall 2015. Since I'm in CA, there's no way I could attend the information session. What important things were mentioned at the information session?

@JL125, even though NYU isn't all about grades, it is still important to aim for A or B+ for prerequisite courses. Nursing classes will be very challenging and doing well in these prereqs is very important. The most competitive applicants have both stellar grades AND experience. i'm not trying to scare you, you can do it! You have control of prerequisite grades now. Speak to an admissions officer how you can make up for undergraduate GPA. Volunteer, shadow a nurse, NP and get a CNA certificate if possible. I believe NYU doesn't let you reapply for a year.

Yeah but in the past forums people waited until mid June and got rejected.... I wouldn't want to wait that long and find out bad news

Yeah I heard if you dont hear by May its a good chance you were put on the waitlist and you're gonna get rejected..

Still nothing the anticipation is killing me. Are people receiving rejection letters? I applied for early decision so far nothing early about it. At this point i just want an answer. If its no just tell me lol. I will cry after .. Just want to desperatly know already. Also because the circumstances in my life changed and i need to know whether ill be going or not!!! Its nice to share my frustration with people whi understand😄
