NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

Thanks brooklynJulie, goodluck to you. Yes I got the email this morning. On another note I received notification I am getting an interview from Mt St Mary's in Los Angeles, and I am from LA so hopefully I get in there!

I got an email at 8:44 this morning saying there was no space for me :( This was the only school I applied to, so I'm trying not to get discouraged. Good luck everyone!

I got my acceptance email this morning at 8:55 AM. I could not be more excited and relieved! I won't start the 15-month program until the Spring as I have to finish up Prerequs this Fall at NYU.

Anyone else admitted for the spring 2014 cohort? I will be in A&P and Micro this Fall.

I also received my denial letter this morning. Curious if anyone else received the message to apply for their alternative school... kind of a weird way to send someone off. So I checked their site this morning and it doesn't even offering a nursing program. Why would they assume an aspiring nursing student would apply to their continuing education program when they aren't even offering a program for them? I will try again for the spring cohort, but it sounds for a previous post that they wanted me to wait a full year?

I am also still waiting for the decision but one of my friends got the regection letter this morning so sad I don't know what's going on and I am hoping I will get in but it seems like they r rejecting more than they r admitting this year

You applied for Spring 2013 and got rejected then, right? They allowed you to also apply for Fall?

Yes they allowed me because of my good credentials I didn't have to pay anything anymore the just transferred my file I spoke to the assistant director of school of nursing ************ sorry for missed spelling you can call and let them know but it still doesn't guarantee that you get in you wait until review as well
