NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

I got it yesterday. They told me I cant even re apply to the spring semester. They said i have to wait a whole year. SMH

Did they tell you there was a wait list? My understanding is that they don't use one.

Hi Corey, I was accepted last week as well and have been searching for other funding options. I'm running out of federal undergrad loans and don't want to take any PLUS loans for this program. I need to submit the deposit on June 4, so am hoping to meet with a financial aid advisor down there next Tuesday, the 28th. Have you heard of The HRSA Nurse Corps? Once you get your RN, you can apply for their loan repayment program and work at an underserved health center for a certain amount of time for partial or full loan repayment. @glcapreol - Congrats. Did you get the acceptance this past Tuesday or Thursday? It would be nice to know they are still sending out acceptances since it seemed like a week of rejects only. Thanks.

Hi ladies I have originally applied to 2013 spring admissions and got rejected I called Nyu and they had my transcripts and all the info transfer for this fall entrance I had an excellent GPA which was 3.8 and had all A in my pre reqs it was very upsetting while someone I know got in with a 3.1 GPA crazyyyy I was mad but this time I am hoping to get in still waiting as well but I also applied to different schools as well

Anyone hear anything? I wasn't expecting any news. My NYU Chemistry grade finally posted and so I called Admissions to let them know. I was advised to email the screen shot to them. Beyond that, it was the usual "We are hoping to get through as many as we can and we know people are waiting".
