NYU ABSN Fall 2013 Entry

Hello everyone! I have submitted my application and my transcripts to NYU for the ABSN program beginning in fall 2013! I am very excited but surprised that we will be hearing so late about an admission decision. Is anyone else applying?

I did not get that email some people got saying that NYU admissions is experiencing delays, please be patient, etc. I don't want to be a pest but I am going to call them tomorrow to make sure they got all of the materials they need to review my app (transcripts, recs, etc) just to make sure.

Samist, Avas_mommy, I'm so sorry to hear that. Do you think you'll reapply?

I'm not eligible for LIU I checked but thank you. I hope you hear from them soon. Best of luck.

I'm not sure if I want to reapply. If I'm not good enough for them with a BA in biology, 3 strong LORs, what's the point? I mean my prereq GPA will go up, in the next week. So I'm not sure if there's any point in reapplying.

If they are look at where you went to school and your "academic caliber", then I guess I'd still be no match the next application cycle.

for me I was fine either way. I just wanted to know. my husband and I had plans for either case. so house shopping it is =-D

I took nutrition at NCC this semester online and was accepted to NYU for the fall. Super easy and if you have good time management skills its extremely reasonable since everything is laid out in the beginning and you have a week time period in which to complete the exams.
