Nybon Nursing School Under Investigation

I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

Go to the post you desire to edit..... click on EDIT link found in bottom left corner of thread,  highlight info you want to remove and delete it or backspace it. Scroll to bottom section, list info in reason for deletion, then clink save.

Was told by Nys that every school in the State of Florida has been placed on hold for Education Review and until investigation is over. Before they were taking from the above list but as of yesterday all schools in the State of Florida has been put on hold.

That's insane actually. Come to find out some states require you to graduate from an accredited school in order to get your license endorsed. Maybe NYC is trying to adopt to the same thing.

They should let us through since we passed already and then incorporate that going forward.

Would it be possible for you to take your NCLEX again in Florida if you reside here?? Instead of waiting

Yes I could but I live in NY. Moving to Florida is not really an option for me.

Yes, that will be the option that the FBON will give you since New York won't send the candidate report to FL, FBON will give you the option to retake the NCLEX again in the state of Florida. If not then you'll have to wait until the investigation is over from NY. Even if you pass the NY, FL has a way to retake it again in Florida. You got this!

Carleen is under federal investigation with Florida, its not looking good

Is it possible to retake NCLEX again after passing it ? A friend of mine told me that he was unable to register once he put in all his information on pearson vue website. 

Has anyone you know try this before ?

@ROK you have to call Pearson Vue so they can do it for you.

I took mine through NY and passed , they issued me a license then I called FLBON they let me retake it . But they have to send request RE-ENTRY to pearson. If you are in fl YES THEY WILL LET YOU RETAKE THE NCLEX.
