I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

I'm also from NY. I attended school in Florida and took my NCLEX and got the good pop up. I still don't have my results though.
If my school IS NOT under investigation or review will NYBON process my stuff?
I'm a little confused about how the NYBON is going about this. If they are placing some students education under review why issue them ATT in the first place, only to hold up their license???
What school did you go to?

Of your school is not under review and all necessary documents are in and no other review is needed or moral character review it takes 3 weeks to get a license after passing NCLEX from NYS BON
See NY BON website re application status
QuoteWe are currently reviewing documents received during the dates noted below. Applications with education from outside the U.S. usually require a lengthier review process. After you have submitted all your documentation, please allow 6 weeks before submitting a Contact Us Form to request a status update. We cannot provide the status of a licensure application by phone. We thank you for your patience and cooperation.
As of today 3/24, NY BON processing applications received on 3/1/2023.

That date is for newly submitted documents. Has nothing to do with schools under review
Yeah, I submitted everything and took my NCLEX three days ago and I passed it. I'm just hoping there will be no problem getting issued a license. NYBON told me several times my school is not under review but I'm still very nervous.

as of now NYS BON is ONLY approving those students who went to a Florida school that is saying Accredited on the website, any school listed as approved and of course Probistionary is and will be subject to a review process. There is not an offical timeline on the review process

You can go on NYS BON website request written verification when it asks for license # just put 000000 and then have it sent to the satet you want to be licensed in
Did anyone try before doing this written verification?
It doesn't work for everyone because when you get the chance to talk to them on a Tuesday or Thursday, some of them say to wait until the investigation is over, depending on the school that you went to because the supervisor has to give the all clear even to send the passing report to another state.
