Nybon Nursing School Under Investigation

I finished my LPN-RN program from Carleen Health Institute. I took the NCLEX under New York state board and passed the exam. I'd been waiting on the license a couple of weeks and decided to call NYbon, was told the school is under review - hence they would not be issuing any licenses till the review is done. They also wouldn't give a time frame. Does anyone have any idea how long these reviews usually take or what could be done in situations like this?

Totally confused by this statement.  Is NY state approving your RN license in  your case with legitimate proof?

I am not in the situation. NyBon they are not approving anyone that school was listed in fraud case. They are requiring hard proof showing that you were attending in person classes and clinicals. And everyone knows that when u attend clinicals, they are signed off by the  clinical educator everyday you attend and a record is kept. Also be mindful if you have a lawyer and no proof you may be mislead and paying out to only by time for a situation that there will be no satisfactory outcome

Some schools are not so attentive to details. Frankly Maria30 you are not all knowledgeable.

I am assuming you got burned by a lawyer...but "misleading" is not accurate for all attorneys and you really do not know anything about what the satisfactory outcome will be....

Everyone's case is different so maybe hiring a lawyer may be beneficial to some. Also keep in mind each state is handling this situation differently.

Hey Tara, I did not say that someone can retake NCLEX with FLBON !  I went to Florida college of health science @ Tampa , passed my NCLEX but my school is on hold @NYBON, hence my license in limbo !
