NY Nclex passers

Published

Hi everyone. Just wondering who else took NCLEX in New York. If you passed in NY, how do you verify if you're licensed? Like in their site, do you pick "nurse, RN" or "Registered Professional Nurse"? How long does it usually take to see your name in the site? Thanks in advance!

RN, registered nurse should do it. If you have questions about the process that are not answered on the site itself, then give them a call.

Both work to check, they boot over to the same database (tried both myself just to make sure. :D )

It takes a week to 14 days usually for us NY people; they may be running slow due to the wealth of grads in June who've written recently. If it hasn't shown after two weeks, maybe try giving them a call?

Thank you both for your replies. Last question, when they mail you the results, is your license included or just papers saying that you passed the exam? Thanks again.

The official results will just be a paper that says you passed, your license will come afterward, along with your registration certificate.

What does the license look like? Is it like a driver's license?
