Hello , Everyone I'm a third semester student at Northern Virginia Community College and I know this is a bit early to be inquiring about nursing school but I just would like to get a head start on getting to know everyone interested in applying! I'm excited for the upcoming semester! i have some ice breakers to get this conversation started as well. Has anyone taken the TEAS test yet and if so how was your experience? and also do you have any remaining classes to take before applying.

does anybody know if you can defer an acceptance for a semester or 2?

I’ve been following these boards for 3 years and I’ve never seen anything about that. I would guess they’ll just say to reapply.

I wonder why its taking so long. Hopefully it's out this week. I am so worried about that orientation date. What if you miss it?

Hopefully longer time means more spots && I think orientation is mandatory I heard they give out packets or something but don’t quote me

I don't think they'll have more spots unfortunately. and as far as orientation -- it's a 6 hour day. I don't think they will offer more than 1 day given how much they cover. They do expect people to take they day off of work or figure out how to make it, if accepted, but if you have travel plans they won't make you change that. I already asked b/c the initial May 20th date wasn't gong to work for me b/c I will be in Europe. Good luck to all.
