NVCC MEC nursing fall '17

Hi all,

i submitted my app for the fall nursing program a week and a half ago so I figured I'd start a forum for all the NVCC MEC nursing applicants to communicate with each other while we anxiously wait for our faith. If anyone in the program or have graduated from the program would like to give some advice, please do!

holy fart, you gave me a freaking HEART ATTACK! I literally started crying...until I looked at her profile (like a complete and utter stalker)and it made no sense because this program aint a BSN anything LOLOL still-congrats to her, thats awesome. and now im gonna puke with nerves hahahahahahahha

I graduated from the program in 2009...far less stress when I applied back in 2007....Was not on Allnurses..facebook....Didn't find out 1 was accepted till you received your acceptance in the mail. Good luck! We were a pretty big class in 2007, I think over 130, believe we were on eof their biggest classes ever at that time, but I could be mistaken. Gl in the program.

So were both the results released on the same day or not last year for both programs?

Last year the LPN to RN acceptances were sent out at least one day after the Traditional RN programs did. I have a friend who has a 4.0 and nearly perfect TEAS scores and she hasn't heard back yet so I don't think they've been sent out yet

Dang, I sort of expected them to send out the acceptances at 4:00.

Since their office hours are open until 7 today maybe there is still a slight chance we'll hear something.

Also I feel like that girl thinks that she's going to get a BSN and not an ADN from NVCC and idk if i should tell her in case she also got in somewhere else today.....
