Hi all,

i submitted my app for the fall nursing program a week and a half ago so I figured I'd start a forum for all the NVCC MEC nursing applicants to communicate with each other while we anxiously wait for our faith. If anyone in the program or have graduated from the program would like to give some advice, please do!

Yenu - congrats! Do you think you could post your TEAS scores and GPA for the prereqs to help LPN to RN students who will apply in the future for the program that will inevitably read this thread like we obsessively read the other years threads lol?

No teas exam for Lpn to RN transition. My GPA was 3.61. I have one B for A&P I and A's for A&P II and Micro.

So onto the official day two of obsessively checking Facebook, email, student portal, and here for probably the next 8 hours! I really have all my finger, toes, eyes, arms, legs, and hair crossed for all of you guys to get in! LOL ❤

I'm going to throw myself into everything I have to do at work today until like 2pm when i will allow myself to check my email and this page again lol. I literally got nothing done yesterday after they sent out LPN->RN acceptances because i was so anxious!!

Asked one of the accepted girls about orientation for the LPN-RN. I'm assuming it'll all be the same for us. She was sweet enough to share.

The first orientation is June 20 (9-4). In addition to June 23, June 30, July 14, July 28, August 19 th these dates are from 8:30am-12:00pm. By the August meeting we have to have titers(HEPT B, MMR, Varicella , and up to date DTap,TB, CPR & physical .

Anyone know how long after the LPN-RN acceptances it took for the traditional RN applicants to get their acceptances last year? I keep checking my email every half an hour hoping there will be something í ½í¸­

Well last year the Traditional RN applicants found out before the LPN-RN applicants did :(

I just scrolled down on facebook and apparently LPN to RN students found out the day after Traditional RN students around 11:45 that morning. So I guess they just need some more time with the domicile review for the traditional RN students.
