NVCC MEC nursing fall '17

Hi all,

i submitted my app for the fall nursing program a week and a half ago so I figured I'd start a forum for all the NVCC MEC nursing applicants to communicate with each other while we anxiously wait for our faith. If anyone in the program or have graduated from the program would like to give some advice, please do!

I say we just go anyway. If they have empty spots and we show up they'll probably give us the spot. We have nothing to loose anyway right?

So does anyone know if the whole thing is over? I've received nothing in my email. I'm so frustrated with how things were done.

I haven't received anything either, and sent a couple of emails as well as left voicemails. No one will call or respond back. So ridiculous

I just wanted to post this for the future applicants who will scour this thread like we scoured the previous threads: At orientation they said that they got over 400 applicants for the Traditional program and currently there are 114 total spots for our lectures this fall semester.

Graduated in 2009....It was a fine program then and I am sure it still is now. I just did the required readings....printed out the PowerPoint slides and I was successful! I found going to lectures pretty useless...as a fair bit of time was wasted by profs answering questions from students who obvisously didnt do the reading....... I would have preferred the Hybrid program, but it wasn't offered when i started. I recall signing up for clinicals were stressful,lol as they would announce the online sign upwould start at 10 am.....so you knew everyone was at their computers and trying to get that desired spot/prof. Hello!!

Just checking to see if anybody in this blog is applying to the Hybrid program? I didn't get accepted in the Traditional and I'm hoping to get in this time.
