NVCC MEC nursing fall '17

Hi all,

i submitted my app for the fall nursing program a week and a half ago so I figured I'd start a forum for all the NVCC MEC nursing applicants to communicate with each other while we anxiously wait for our faith. If anyone in the program or have graduated from the program would like to give some advice, please do!

I could definitely be wrong, not 100% sure. I have been looking through older threads to use as a reference.

So they made this video last year but they shared it again a few days ago - it sort of really outlines the process. I think everyone should watch it because it has some interesting information about the admissions process!

On Facebook under their update somebody said they got their acceptance today. Looks like they got sent out already. Apparently 221 people applied and only 20% of those were accepted. If I am correct that is only 44 people..... I am shocked

I see the comment, but where did you see the stats? She may be in the LPN program or the LPN-RN bridge too. No one freak yet! (also only 20 min ago) I hovered over her profile, and it shows she was studying for her BSN at George Mason, so she is likely an LPN to RN or something of that nature?

K so I guess my question is where is this information coming from? I'm lost...Was that person in the LPN/RN or traditional application pool? How do you know how many slots they had or have rather?

her post makes no sense. its not an RN/BSN program...

No, she jsut commented again and said it was just for the LPN to Rn program, not traditional!

She just said she was accepted to the LPN/RN program

Gosh I am so relieved but also now i'm SWEATINGGGGG i want my decision nowwww lol

I think you're right Mama...it made me really nervous but I'll give it a couple hours.... If that were the case i'm sure there will be more posts.
