Nvcc hybrid october 2016 (jan 2017 start)

Published

Hi!! This is for anyone applying for NVCC's hybrid nursing program starting in January 2017! Just curious on how much more competitive the hybrid nursing is compared to the traditional?

Thanks!!

Has anyone else heard anything?

No i still havent im so nervous!(it probably means i wasnt accepted) But congrats too you!!! Hopefully we all hear good news but who knows

I feel the same. I think maybe this round of people are the first ones and if some can't make it to the orientation, they'll accept the next? Idk... sigh

I'm pretty sure that whoever hasn't gotten an email didn't get in. My friend got and email yesterday, and it said only 65 people got in. I didn't... :(

Hey all, just got my rejection letter. My understanding is that's it's a generic letter, but it's addressed to someone named Reilly Colville, which is not me. I just think it's a little impersonal if all of them say that on them. Or to get the name wrong? Shouldn't they take the time to at least address the right student? Weird. Big congratulations to all those who did get in! Be proud of yourselves. Anyone else who gets a rejection letter Im just curious to know if it says your name on letter. Because the letter was an attachment in the email, leading me to believe all of them say it?

Hi jnl968, just got my rejection letter too and it said the same name Reilly Colville. Super unprofessional! The email said formal letters will be sent out on the 28th. Congrats to everyone accepted!

Same name..so unprofessional and disrespectful. If this wasnt the only school I can afford, i would not apply again..

I am nOt applying again i feel super disappointed, and uncared for that it was just a generic letter sent to who was rejected.. AND we had to wait 3 days after those who got accepted to get a response.. lol i will just get my associates at nova and tranfer to gmu í ¾í´”

I'd research more about the GMU route if you're still doing nursing because I heard from several people they were losing their accreditation for their nursing program.

No i was going to give up on nursing lol but good to know i didnt know that thank you :)

I just got my rejection letter...65 PEOPLE?! So frustrating and disheartening. And yes, same rude and unprofessional generic letter with an "apology" email following.

I haven't got either, acceptance or rejection. :-(
