Nvcc hybrid october 2016 (jan 2017 start)

Nursing Students School Programs

Published

Hi!! This is for anyone applying for NVCC's hybrid nursing program starting in January 2017! Just curious on how much more competitive the hybrid nursing is compared to the traditional?

Thanks!!

I did. Just dropped off documentation this morning. Hopefully this is a good sign...

hey i just saw on their Facebook page that all application proccesed emails went out and next is the domicle review then the admissions decisions! it was just posted yestrday.

Just got my email saying that my application has been processed. Hope to hear something about acceptances soon.

What is the domicile review again? I didn't get one of those

The email said "we ask that you provide student services at the Medical Education Campus an updated copy of your current immigration and or citizenship documentation. " like a passport. You just show it to them so they could make a copy.

Yeah i didnt get an email like that either í ½í¸í ½í¸¬

I did not get one about providing something either. When I applied to the Fall 2016 program no one mentioned getting an email like that either. Did anyone who got one of the email's asking for a passport move to the area recently? I know with the domicile review they look at where everyone is located and give priority to people located in the vicinity of the campuses, then the people who are out of the immediate area or out of state are considered.

Yeah that's strange because I was looking at the other posts from previous years and it wasn't mentioned. But to answer your question, I got the email and I did not recently move into the area. I'm not sure if it's that kind of domicile review because they didn't ask for proof of my address, my address or anything like that, just my passport.

I just got an email saying I got a provisional acceptance. Did anyone else get one?

Congrats.

Can you tell us How was your gpa n teas like

I have all my co-req classes complete. I got an A in A&P 1 and Micro, and a B in A&P 2. My reading teas was 87%, english and language was 71% and math was 100%. I really think it was the 100% in math that helped a lot. I hope you guys all hear from them and have all gotten in as well.

They posted the mandatory date for orientation (NOV 30TH)
