Nvcc hybrid october 2016 (jan 2017 start)

Published

Hi!! This is for anyone applying for NVCC's hybrid nursing program starting in January 2017! Just curious on how much more competitive the hybrid nursing is compared to the traditional?

Thanks!!

Think positively. You might be on a waiting list!

Has anyone recieved that letter yet

In the mail? no... I doubt we'll get one even if they said they would send it..

Specializes in Neuro ICU.

I also never received an acceptance or rejection email/letter either... and I did get an initial email saying my application was being processed...

Just got my rejection letter in the mail

Hi everyone,

Do you know if they're supposed to raise the TEAS requirements for next year application? I still see 58% in their 2017 application packet!

That change doesn't go into effect until 2018

Hey everyone! I'm thinking of applying to the hybrid program for next year. I assumed that because it's NOVA it wouldn't be too difficult but now I see that I am totally wrong! Would you guys mind telling me your GPAs and TEAS scores so I know how I could compare myself? I have yet to take the TEAS but definitely going to do it soon (applications are due in the summer). Also- what are you guys doing for plan B? I really don't have one but now I definitely think I need one. I had no idea how hard NOVA's program is!!

I really appreciate any help you guys can give me. Thanks so much!!

GPA: 4.0, before the program

TEAS: 2 scores in the 90s and 1 score (in the reading section) in the 80s

Specializes in Medical Critical Care Step-Down..

You want to help. Why can't people just state their scores. What is "high 80s, low 90s." Easier just to write your score unless someone is trying to hide something..just saying.smh
