I'm thinking about taking a six week micro this Summer. I mean if the grade doesn't matter amd just having the course done is all that is assessed then screw it, why not!

I’m taking the Sat/Sun AM Bio 150 and online CST for the second half of the Summer, if you need a study buddy! By then I’ll have all co-reqs with As (knock on wood) and 4.0 in pre-recs. My boyfriend and I were already planning on moving to Alexandria late Summer/early fall for his new job; I told him last night we need to move sooner rather than later so I can establish residency by Sept 20, LOL. Not much more I can do!

I paid for the study package through TEAS website which was around 200 I think, then exam twice: 120. I upgraded the pocket prep which was like 30 or so. I did whatever I could to be competitive. I got 87.5 over all 95 in reading, 84 math, 83 science and 87.5 in English.

I wanted to take BIO150 over the Summer if I got in but Fall if I didn’t. If I take it now (assuming there’s still a spot) AND STILL not get in for Spring, what am I supposed to do?? My plan was to go to Mason after and do my BSN so I’ve been taking the courses for their core requirements, but I need to be full-time because of my financial aid. I’m not even sure if I can still use the Summer grant NOVA offered if I decide to accept it after declining it. I recently got an advisor and she told me to email the counseling dept at my campus and no one has helped me/answered my questions.

Yea, its brutal. But what can we do!

What you just said exactly ally! I may take a six week micro and try to get a b.

From what I have gathered having all 4 co reqs gave you a leg up over higher grades but less co reqs.

Yes! Study buddy!

Anyone who is enrolled in BIO 150 or going to enroll. I know there’s only in person options available. Are these/will these be online now due to COVID?

Who are you taking for micro? I am trying to decide between the lesser of two potentially challenging professors right now.

I haven’t looked yet but I will now! I had my hopes on some professors but they are at the Manassas campus, the closest one to me. I can only imagine the few professors left.

I think everything for Summer is online

All Summer classes are online even though it says in-person. Currently enrolled in BIO 150 6 weeks class “in-person” but we all doing work online. Also, once a week virtual meeting trough zoom....but it is optional.....

They’re online, but synchronous, so you may have to be online at a certain time. I have another 9-5 job right now so my options are limited. I’m taking section 20YN with --------------------.

I am taking her too. It seems like a toss-up, per the reviews, but I would rather give it a go and have it count toward my Spring application.

You should reply directly to the email that was sent to you from the nursing division if you were sent two different emails.

Hi MEC Counselor:
Will there be any more batches of acceptances sent out, and could those include people who received the two different letters yesterday?
