For those who started (or have graduated from) Marymount's Online ABSN this fall, what are your thoughts about the program so far? Is it what you expected? Pros and cons? I'm weighing online vs in person. Thanks!

I did. Someone on Reddit mentioned there were 657 applications which is nuts. I think they are reinstating the TEAS (?) for Fall so that may be an area to kill it and stand out.

Did anyone else receive a decision letter this morning?

I think you definitely need clarification from NOVA about why you received both accept/ reject letters today. Maybe someone jumped the gun on a second batch of accept. letters and more are coming?? I haven't heard anyone saying that they received a wait-list letter either. Maybe some other criteria was considered b/c it seems like too many people would have had the exact same score so what was used as tie-breakers? Just spitballing here.

OMG - did you email MEC? Definitely confirm with them. That is ridiculous!

Basically attend Orientation (July 27), confirm attendance for orientation/ program (by July 1), drug screen/ background check (order by July 20) and pass both from Castlebranch, and register for classes (more info to come). Also must attend remotely the MEC Symposium and show proof of immunizations.

Me, too! Does yours say "provisional acceptance" with those 4 steps that must be completed? CONGRATS to others as well! And to others who have not heard yet, please do not lose hope. They may be sent out in batches. And folks who have been accepted may have chosen to attend other schools already so people could very well be pulled from the wait list. Best of luck to you all!
