I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Hi everyone! I came across this site & found it very helpful & I guess it's my time to share:)..I could rant about dissatisfaction with my agency but I'd rather not. Suffice it to say that I finished all exams & visascreen certification in 2004 using my personal funds, then signed up with an agency in Feb 2005 but case filed only in Dec 2005..so here's my timeline:
Notice of receipt: Dec 21, 2005
Priority Date: Dec 22, 2005
I140 approved: May 4, 2006
NVC Bill Date: May 30, 2006
Visa fee payment received by NVC: Aug 10, 2006 (though payment for dependents sent to agent in June)
DS230/Packet 3 sent by NVC to agent (info from e-mail): Aug 14, 2006
So there, I'm waiting for the official arrival of Packet3 & praying that I'l still make it before another retrogression catches up on me again for the second time...But I'm sure there's a reason for everything so..will just give you updates later...Have a happy life everyone!
Until now, I have not received any words from NVC regarding the status of my case. They said, that I have to wait 3 to 5 days. I don't want to preempt but I will just think positively that my case will be included on the September miracle. Sorry, guys, if I can not give you a day to day update of my case because I have a problem of my internet connection with PLDT. Perhaps, I can go to the internet cafe near my residence to give or contribute some good inputs concerning current & relevant issues especially of course in relation to our case. Try to ask if you have already your appoinment thru email, because in my case when I called the NVC its the same response I had since my case was completed last June 28. Thus, I tried the email system just like titanium and I got the sched. For sure you have already your sched.
Hi! I called my agency asking about this sched I received from NVC email. They don't have yet the appoinment packet so I will wait for it. I think you are correct they did'nt know about the sched.
About the medical, according to my agency a week before the interview daw.
You know Im quite worried, i felt uncertain for the fact that the date is 2wks more and yet I dont have the appoinment and also we are from the province. Anyhow, God is so good naman so i will trust all to HIM.
i called NVC awhile ago just to verify if my interview schedule posted from my email is really true, and they said exactly the same date of interview for me..i didnt go through the automated response but instead i went straight to talking with an operator and she told me that im scheduled for an interview on sept 11 at 8:30...if i were u just call them coz for sure u got ur interview schedule already...ur in my prayers too esterp..hope to hear u say ur interview sched soon...im keeping my fingers crossed on dat... :)
as i sed above, d interview sched dat was stated in my email is d same as what d operator from the NVC hotline told me..so i pretty well think that the interview date dat was stated in ur email is also reliable.. i know ur very much apprehensive this time because ur sched is just a few weeks away from now, but wat can we do now? isnt this wat we've been waiting for? i am anxious too but i think we'll get over it somehow..we'll just try to keep our focus and call on HIM for guidance and strength...for sure our packet 4 this time is on d way..let's just be patient..it will come soon... cheer up ok? we're in d same boat u know..and so is esterp..we'll pray for him too...
in my case it only took only 1 day for my packet 3 to be received by NVC and 2 weeks before it was completed..although others took less than 2 weeks to have their cases completed so it really depends..just keep urself updated with ur case by emailing NVC every so often dat way ul know d progress of ur petition....i really wish u luck, okies? ul be in my prayers too... :)

Hope you dont mind me asking. when you email NVC re:visa application inquiry.how many days it took them to reply in your inquiry?:)
