I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.

Hello! My lawyer just sent me my DS 230, I was wondering if it is your DS 230 was just sent thru email? Mine was just sent thru email and my lawyer just said to have it printed and sign it. I thought they will send me the one from the NVC. Is this ok? How did you guys receive your DS 230 from your lawyers?
^ That is perfectly ok. I just downloaded my blank ds230 forms over the net and it went just fine. Make sure though that you get the updated version of the form. Just look at the small prints...which is on the upper right side i think. anyways, since your lawyer did it for you, it should be ready for printing and just a sign away. hey, they're being paid top dollars (which is part of what will be deducted from you in the future) so they better get it right.
I have a problem with my NVC case number. I called the NVC and gave them my MNL-number then the robot prompted me saying that my VISA SYMBOL is E3, no visa available, processing priority date OCtOBER 1, 2001. Am i in the wrong visa type? Should I be in a Category X or schedule A nurse because I'm a candidate for the 50K recaptured visa? What will I do? How can I change my visa type so it will be current. Anyone in here who had the same problem as mine? Please share your inputs. I don't know what to do exactly.

Hi Daning! Thanks for the info. What documents did you enclose with your DS 230? I just want to make sure that I do not miss any documents to avoid delays. My lawyer just asked for birth certs, marriage contract, police certs, copy of passports and copy of my visa screen to be send with the DS 230, are these the same documents you sent with your DS 230? Did you send any photographs with the DS 230?
birth cert (certified copy), police and NBI clearance, copy of passport (first page and amended pages) were the only things they asked for. those are the exact dox needed in the instructions page by the NVC.

FYI, police clearance will only be needed from a foreign country (meaning outside the Philippines) that you have lived for atleast 6 months. Otherwise, you only have to submit the NBI clearance

Hi Titanium, it's good to hear from you!. I "ve been off the forum for a week now because I have a problem of my internet connection. It's really been a problem since it was downgraded from comm'l to residential. Anyway, back to our subject, I just verified my case through "visa interview appointments" again, the remarks still the same "case number not found on appointment list". Though, I don't have a crystal ball to predect what's really ahead of us, but I am certain & stand by HIS word that " For I know the plans That I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for calamity to give you future and a hope" Jer.29:11. Is that nice to hear? So we don't lose hope guys! "The mind of man plans his way, But the Lord directs his steps" Prob.16:9.
Yap... i agree with you. Let us wait for the perfect time HE wants for us... Let us remember that God is so good all the time. Anyway, about my case... it's the same with you guys. Well, hope that our interview sched will be out next week. Let us crooss our fingers for this he he he...
