I am starting a new thread to track cases from NVC - embassy to GC.
The best news for RN in China, Phillippines and India has been great and informative thread, but I think it is more appropriate and convenient if we start a new thread.
Also with the rapid scheduling of interviews for most of us, I am looking beyond the CP and anticipating the GC!
The August interview schedules are out already in India, and recently in the Philippines and hopefully in China.
Here is my case details

USCIS receipt : April 2004
Processing Center : Vermont
I-140 approved : October 2004
NVC case number : MNL2004813XXX
NVC forwarded packet 3 : April 5, 2005
Packet 3 sent back to NVC : May 3, 2005
NVC case completed : May 16, 2005
Consular Interview : August 29, 2005
Visa received : ???
Date of entry in the US :???
GC receive : ????

so happy for you. mine is in the same dilema. DS 230 submitted in July 12. not sure NVC finish administrative processing or not. is there a way to find out like call or email?
Peanut recently shared her experience with the LAX point of entry. Maybe those in the US already can also share their experience? how about those who entered in the east coast? our port of entry is detroit. do they have special procedure for those with kids? how about customs procedure and checking your stuff? thanks.
yehey! i received an email saying the nvc has finished with my case, not sure of the date though. but it's been less than 3 wks after they've received my packet 3 (july 19). yipee -- last stage, hopefully not to be affected by retrog.
question: friends, where do they post the NVC interview group schedules? i cant find it in this thread, it's so frustrating. i know how to check individual case numbers, but i also want to know about this list, lol. thanks a lot.
I've received my DS-230 Part I and II. I have already compiled the necessary documents. But, so far I'm confused as what documents do I really send. Should I send all of the following:
1. Birth Certificate (original from NSO)
2. NBI Clearance (original)
3. Police Clearance? (even if I never left Philippines and stayed most of my life in Manila?)
4. CENOMAR or Certificate of No Marriage (original from NSO) - I only have one copy. Do I need to present another one during the interview?
I'd really appreciate your help. Thanks so much! How long did you guys wait for the completion of your case to visa interview?

Hi Leis....You are right that you should send your birth cert(in NSO paper),but make sure you have another copy for the interview, so better get 2 copies from NSO, you should also send your original NBI,but keep the one marked personal copy for your interview. You do not have to get police clearance since this only applies to those who have already worked outside the Philippines and lastly you do not need to submit your certificate of no marriage, I'm single and my lawyer did not tell me to pass such document, all my other single friends did not pass theirs too, I think its not part of the requirement.....honestly I don't know what that document is for,maybe for marriage purposes (well, correct me if I'm wrong)hehehe;) I hope this helps
Hi...it's me again....I've waited for 2 months from my case completion before my consular interview, but I have to admit our batch was unusually fast (I don't know what happened). But based on past posts in this forum, it will take about 3 to five months....I guess you just have to wait, nobody knows when will our time come, it will just hit you unexpectedly........so you just have to hang on tight.....because I'm sure, it will come!

Thanks a lot! Was getting confused on a lot of answers. Some said I need the police clearance etc and the CENOMAR. Yup, I have two copies..ahh three copies of my NSO birth certificate. Will be sending my documents along with the DS-230 this coming Friday by Fedex. I hope I won't be affected by the retrogression.

Hi I have been following up the trend from NVC case completion to interview sched. Those who were completed June have interview scheds for August. How about those who were completed July, do you have interview scheds for September?

Hi lifehouse.....is it really true that there will be another retrogression?...I have been very busy lately and I was surprised to have read that there will be another retrogression on october....I thought the US senate or somebody( not really sure) has removed the visa cap this year, meaning there would be unlimited (I don't know about this) number of visas...or am I talking about two entirely different things...could somebody enlighten me about this matter? I'm concerned because my sister's lawyer is only just about to pass her papers to INS...
